Boy With Angelic Voice Sings For Pope Francis

A 14-year-old teen blew everyone away with his angelic voice when he performed for Pope Francis at the Festival of Families in Philadelphia.

Bobby Hill, a member of Philadelphia's Keystone State Boychoir, sang an acoustic rendition of "Pie Jesu" by Andrew Lloyd Webber, hitting several unbelievable high notes throughout the performance.

What's even more remarkable? Hill had no idea he would be singing for the Pope that day. A sudden change in the program left an empty spot that needed to be filled. That's when the choir's director recommended that Hill take the stage.

Like the young singer with vitiligo, Hill hardly had any time to prepare for such a monumental moment.

After the performance, Hill also gave the Pope a special gift he and his choirmates were saving for someone noteworthy.

“In 2009 we were the only choir to go to Antarctica and we brought back a rock to save to give to someone special like maybe the President or the Pope, which we just gave it to him, I gave it to him on stage,” he told CBS 3 Eyewitness News.

Hill later received a hug from the host of the night, actor Mark Wahlberg, who told the crowd, “That right there was truly the voice of an angel."

We have to agree!
