Brothers, 10 And 14, Accused Of Beating Man To Death With Traffic Cone, Turn Themselves In

Two boys, who are brothers, have turned themselves in to authorities in connection with a Pennsylvania man's death.

The boys, ages 10 and 14, are allegedly two of the seven young people captured on video assaulting a 73-year-old man in Philadelphia. The video shows the group surrounding the man, chasing him, and attacking him from behind.

The man, James Lambert, was badly beaten with a traffic cone on June 24 in the violent attack. He died from his injuries.

"The teens struck the victim several times with objects, knocking the victim to the ground causing injuries to his head," the Philadelphia Police Department said in a statement.

Lambert was hospitalized. He died the following day.

The jarring video footage was released by police last week. It shows four males and three females of varying ages participating in the attack. The footage shows the young people chasing Lambert before beating him. One of the individuals filmed the attack on a cellphone.

The Philadelphia Police Department is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
