By inserting his phone inside a guitar, one musician caught something incredibly simple, yet so mesmerizing.
Australian native Paulie Boii Branc recorded the oscillation of the strings on his guitar as he played Metallica's 1991 song "Nothing Else Matters."
"I seen [sic] an idea similar on a instrument, but I wondered what one of the greatest songs ever written sounded and looked like through the 6 strings filmed #fromtheinsideout #randomradness!! so close no matter how far," Branc wrote as the video's caption on Facebook.
Once you start watching the strings move against the blue sky above him, it's hard to look away. And if you thought Samuel Orson playing music with the strings in his guitar’s neck was impressive, you will surely love Branc's creative clip!
Branc's video quickly went viral. In less than a month, it had more than 8 million views on Facebook and tons of comments from fascinated viewers.
"I have never heard this song played the way it should be played until now man," one Facebook user wrote.
Another said, "This is the sickest thing I've seen all day."
Just watch the video below and I'm sure you'll understand why it's getting so much attention!
