He Used Cardboard And A Bike To Build A $50,000 Car. Sounds Crazy, But It HAPPENED

What do you look for when you buy a car?

For me, it's gas mileage, price, and safety, but there are also some people who are looking for top speeds, sleek design, or want to brag that they've got one of the most expensive cars on the market.

Look, the idea of owning a Bentley, Ferrari, or Porsche is nice in theory, but I prefer a car where I don't feel too bad about dropping some greasy McDonald's fries between the seat and the door.

The only Porsche I should ever own is the one below.

An imgur user, GibblesNBits, recently uploaded photos of a project where a "Porsche" was built from cardboard, PVC Pipe, foil, and a bicycle. Reports of the original creator vary from source to source, but a YouTube user named HAN LAN has posted videos of himself with the replica.

Now, obviously this car isn't meant for driving on the road. Should it collide with another vehicle, it just wouldn't stand a chance. Still, it's an interesting project worthing SHARING! So please SHARE if you love how the simplest things in life can be transformed into something incredible!

Who knew a Porsche could come from such simple beginnings?

And you don't hear of many car companies bragging about their cardboard frames.

Not that impressive yet, I know...but it gets better.

With the basic dimensions set, he uses PVC pipe to create the frame.

PVC pipe held together with duct tape.

This is a lot cheaper than most Porsches, which start at just below $50,000 for the most basic models.

Of course, the "paint" job is one of the most important steps, but when I see this photo, I feel like the whole thing's going to look so ramshackle.

But actually...it's coming together.

They even gave it a hood and headlights.

If you close your eyes, just a little, it almost passes for the real thing.

Again, I wouldn't recommend taking this out on the road, but the end result is pretty cool!
