What's in a name? If you're a car manufacturer, the answer is "a lot." The name of a vehicle can make or break sales depending on how it comes across to potential buyers. While many car names are just a bunch of numbers and letters put together, some automakers have gotten super creative when it comes to naming their vehicles, and the results have made their vehicles unforgettable.
Even if a car is stylish, functional, and well-priced, it won't sell if it's not properly named and advertised. In fact, many of these seriously underrated cars had low sales partly because their names didn't click with their target audiences. It's amazing how a single word can affect a vehicle's success. It can influence how buyers perceive the cars they're purchasing… and it's probably part of the reason these cost-efficient cars appear to be so much more expensive than they really are!
If you want to see your friends' eyes widen when you tell them what you drive, or if you just love cars, check out these cool vehicles whose names make them even more awesome. Some of them seem like they were built with their names in mind, but number 10's is very misleading! What were those manufacturers thinking?
