Jess Ryan's boyfriend came home one day with an adorable ginger kitten named Minnie. Little did their grown-up cat Evin know, his mini-me had just moved into the house.
Minnie immediately became attached to the older cat, and Evin was so fond of Minnie that he decided to adopt him!
From the beginning, the two were inseparable. The bond was instant, like this kitten who chose her person on the outskirts of a cornfield.
"Evin and Minnie hit it off right away," Ryan told Bored Panda. "I think mainly because Minnie clung to Evin and gave him no other choice!"
Over time, Minnie has started to catch up in size and they now look more identical than ever. He might even be looking for a mini-me of his own sometime soon!

Jess Ryan's boyfriend works at a dairy farm. The farm has plenty of animals, including a few litters of adorable ginger cats.

And when he brought home Minnie, the resemblance between the new cat and their old cat was uncanny.

Minnie may have grown attached to his older, furry brother Evin due to his familiar orange coat. But regardless of the reason, the two became best friends instantly!

Some may say Evin decided to adopt the tiny addition for himself.

Evin took extra care raising Minnie. After feeding time, he would even clean and groom him!

"They nonstop wrestle, play, and snuggle," Ryan told Bored Panda. "They're best friends."

Although Evin took to the new family addition very well, the other cat in the house wasn't too impressed.
"We have another, older grey cat named Tunie," Ryan told Bored Panda. "They love to harass her, chase her, and smack her butt when she walks by."

Ryan thinks Minnie may have come from Evin's sister's litter. If that's the case, they're actually uncle and nephew!

Ryan and her boyfriend have been diligently trying to catch the other cats on the dairy farm in order to get them fixed. Although these litters produce some adorable kittens, every cat deserves a forever home and overpopulation is typically the reason why that can't happen for each cat.

Minnie was lucky enough to have been welcomed into Ryan's home. Now, Evin and Minnie are rarely seen in the house without the other one present.

"Evin and his mini-me are amazing. They bring so much joy to our house," Ryan told Bored Panda.

Now that Minnie is almost caught up in size to Evin, it may be time to find a mini-me for Minnie!
