I love the fact that pets can be such curious little creatures. The simplest things can entertain them for hours on end, and we just get to sit back and watch the hilarity (and cuteness) unfold before our eyes. Who wouldn't love that?
In this video, we get to see as one of those curious creatures — a cat named Walter Santi — sees something on the TV that piques his interest. Within moments, Santi is in front of the TV staring intently.
"Hmm," wonders Santi. "That certainly looks familiar, but I just can't put my paw on it."
Well, the video playing on the television screen might look familiar to the four-year-old white cat because that video is that very same Walter Santi when he was a mere two months old!
The tiny kitten on the screen plays with a tube with a ball inside of it (an endless source of entertainment for the cats in my house as well) and four-year-old Walter Santi watches himself with the steely-eyed gaze of a cat that loves what he sees.
Before long, Walter Santi is up on the TV stand, mere inches away from the screen as he watches his younger kitten self being adorable. He then starts pawing at the screen likes he wants to play along with little Santi.
It's hard to tell if present-day Santi is just digging the memories of his confused, youthful self or if he really wants that kitten to pop out of the TV and play with him. Either way, it's completely adorable.
Here's hoping that we get another video, four years from now, of eight-year-old Santi watching four-year-old Santi watching two-month-old Santi. Now that would be cool!
