Chrissy Teigen is not afraid to stand up for herself. This has both endeared her to fans and gotten her into hot water for being a bully. This time, however, she is standing up for something bigger than herself: her family.
Chrissy responded to rumors that she used a surrogate for daughter Esti Maxine by posting a picture of her getting a C-section. There is no way that photo could be faked. Chrissy specifically shut down one troll who accused her of using a moon bump, which is essentially a fake pregnant belly.
Chrissy shared a very personal photo of herself and Esti post-cesarean section on her Instagram stories. She overlaid the words "extremely realistic 'moon bump'" on the photo. This will surely stop the rumor mill.
Chrissy used the term moon bump because of one specific comment she is “obsessed with.” Chrissy also shared this comment on her stories, which both accuses her of being "born male" and using a “moon bump” and also praises her, calling themselves a “huge fan.” Oh, the dichotomy.
Chrissy spoke to People magazine about her excitement to have delivered babies both vaginally and through cesarean section. She has had well-rounded birthing experiences.
"I was kind of excited because I'm like, 'Yeah, I've done the vaginal thing twice. Let's try this.' I really love surgery," she confessed. "I like that I've seen both experiences."

Chrissy is not squeamish. "The incision is a lot and you never know how your stomach's going to come together," she reminisced. "I think your organs are on the table for a second, but that to me is so cool. I was taking pictures above the seat. I have the craziest pictures of the cord and everything."
Chrissy shares three children with her husband, singer John Legend. Luna Simone is 7, and Miles Theodore is 4. Baby Esti is now 4 months old.
