Christina Hall recently opened up in an Instagram post about what her custody battle with ex Ant Anstead was like. The two share a 3-year-old son together. Amid their divorce, there was disagreement over who would have custody of Hudson.
Christina and Ant met in 2017. They married a year later in 2018, separated in 2020, and finalized their divorce in 2021.
Their son, Hudson, was born in 2019. The divorce prompted a long and lengthy custody battle that unfolded between the estranged couple.

Ant filed a petition for full custody. He had previously agreed to split custody, but then he changed his mind.
According to the then 43-year-old, Ant didn't believe Christina was creating a safe environment for their child. He accused her of poor parenting and suggested that Hudson would be better off in his sole care.
Christina shared that she was "deeply saddened" by Ant's decision to file for sole custody. "I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart."
The two finally settled their custody battle in December 2022. They agreed on continuing joint legal and physical custody.
In Christina's post, she shared about the difference between the space she was in last year and now this year. "Crazy how much life can change in a year. Last Mother’s Day I was in a very bad place. Going through an extremely unnecessary custody battle, family issues, dealing with a health scare- amongst other things. During all this we were momentarily displaced and in the process of moving into a temporary rental," she shared.
She went on to describe having a conversation with the owner of the rental property and how life-changing the talk was. "No one I knew could understand what I was going through so to meet someone who got it and who could talk me through it truly was life changing. Shortly after that things turned around and fell into place," she said. "I know I’ve made mistakes but I know what I’ve done right… I know with all my heart my kids love me… and I know I’m a good mom…. life is crazy but being a mama makes it all worth it. Alllll of it. Happy Mother’s Day, no matter where you are in life or what’s happening stay positive- It can all change in a year!"
