Kevin Costner’s Estranged Wife Christine Baumgartner Will Go Back To School And Get A Job

Christine Baumgartner and her estranged husband Kevin Costner recently appeared in court to talk about their next steps in life amid their divorce proceedings. The former couple were present in court on August 31 and September 1 in Santa Barbara, California, for a child support hearing.

The hearing ended up going in Kevin's favor, as he was ordered to pay $63,209 per month in child support as opposed to what Christine had sought, which was $161,592. The former couple proceeded to discuss what their next steps would be in life.

Christine, 49, shared that she plans to go back to school to get a college degree and enter the workforce. She currently lives in a $40,000-per-month rental after she was court ordered to move out of their family compound.

Kevin admitted that his world has been shaken up by the divorce. In terms of what he plans for his future, he said, “I have to take care of obligations that are already in place, I have a lot of responsibilities I have to take care of.”
