An unaltered photo of Cindy Crawford is causing a stir on social media after it was leaked over the weekend. The photo shows the 48-year-old model posing in lingerie — sans photoshop.
In the untouched photo, Crawford's stomach is no longer taut and her thighs aren't as toned as before.
Marie Claire editors responded to the leak, confirming that the photo was originally for a December 2013 cover story for the magazine's Mexico edition.
"No matter where the photo came from, it's an enlightenment — we've always known Crawford was beautiful, but seeing her like this only makes us love her more," the magazine wrote.
Crawford has yet to comment on the photo. But she has received a flood of support on social media, with many thanking Crawford for proving that women can be sexy at any age.
One woman tweeted: "Turns out she has a real body, just like me. And you and you and you…" Another wrote: "Love her more than ever."
