As pop singer Gloria Estefan so eloquently put it in her 1987 hit song "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," there's really "no place that you can hide" when you find yourself caught up in a good beat. Try as you might to resist the urge to bust a move, sometimes it's just impossible to keep still! Whether you're a young child hearing your favorite radio track or someone older struck with the urge to celebrate all the good times, we all have at least one song that inspires us to shimmy and shake.
Though he spends plenty of time following orders in the Army National Guard, Tyler Johnson's real passion is dancing. He can be regularly found strutting his stuff along the streets of his hometown in Connecticut, but it's who joined him for the routine below that made a big impression on the crowd that day. They're all gathered for a car show when a cop walks up to the young man and stops his performance. You might think Officer Matt Sulek was there to shut the whole thing down, but instead he joins right in with his own talented popping and locking skills!
Johnson says he thinks Officer Sulek won the amazing breakdance battle, but I think it's a pretty even split. The two toe-tappers have even become friends since they bonded over their fancy footwork! Perhaps Johnson should consider including Officer Sulek in his dance team's next video routine. They clearly know how to entertain a crowd together!
