Cows, as adorable as they are, have a knack for finding themselves in some sticky situations. Eight pregnant cows founds themselves washed away by the tide off the coast of Ireland — though all of them and their babies are safe now, it took hours to save them! And let's not forget about this cow, who escaped onto the highway, and sent police officers chasing after her!
Now, some cows in Mississippi are having a rough week. A truck carrying 100 cows overturned on the highway. The driver is being treated for minor injuries, but the cops are still struggling with the animals. Some unfortunately died in the accident, and one was killed on the road, but many were safe and sound inside the truck. The cows causing problems and stopping morning traffic are the ones who managed to escape!
The cows have been spotted wandering around towns and along the highway, and cops have tried desperately to wrangle them and bring them to safety, but some still remain on the loose. Even volunteers have pitched in to help catch the animals! But imagine driving on your way to work, and being stopped by a man riding on horseback, waving around some rope and chasing a cow across the highway!
Cops are urging drivers along Interstate 20 to be cautious, especially at night.
