John and Mary Douglas have been married for 34 years. For this Valentine's Day, they decided to spice things up and get dual makeovers.
They'd moved to New York last summer to care for their 15-month-old granddaughter and hadn't spent much time focusing on themselves. Because of their touching story, this deserving couple was chosen to take part in TODAY's "Ambush Makeovers," where they agreed to get upgraded looks.
When they finally see each other, it's so special. They gush about their partners, not even caring what they look like themselves. Cue happy tears!
"Wow!" Mary exclaims, reacting to her husband's handsome new look.
"You look as beautiful as usual," John says, before going in for a kiss.
This couple is so sweet. The way they look at one another is a true testament to their relationship. Now this is true love, folks!
