Many people found themselves forgoing their usual beauty and makeup routines during the pandemic. But you're about to meet a woman who took quarantine as an opportunity to hone her makeup skills and style even more.
Twenty-five-year-old Jordan, a tattoo artist, calls her style "deathcore." She's covered in tattoos — including seven facial inkings — and has always preferred an all-black wardrobe.
During lockdown, she really started to play around with a more severe look, wearing a full face of black and white makeup just about every single day.
In the video clip, Jordan allows an Instagram makeup artist to give her a much more stripped-down look, with a girl-next-door vibe. After the drastic make-under, she reveals herself to her family. Let's just say her "after" is a shocking sight to everyone in the room … including Jordan herself.
While she's clearly open-minded, she also knows exactly who she is:
"It made me realise that I’m pretty happy with the way that I look, that I don't want to change for anybody."
