Debbie always wanted to a makeover. With her 60th birthday around the bend, she figured there was no better time to do it.
"This is a time I'm either gonna let my hair go completely grey or get the courage to set up the appointment and follow through with it," she said.
Debbie's husband didn't understand why she wanted to change her look. Her daughter, however, encouraged her by saying it was something she was doing for herself and no one else. It's not that Debbie wanted to look younger or even more beautiful, she simply wanted to be the best version of herself she could possibly be.
After seeing the work of the MakeoverGuy, aka Christopher Hopkins, Debbie decided to set up a call and see if he could help her. Confident he'd be able to deliver on his promise, Debbie took a chance and went to meet with Christopher himself.
She walked into the salon with white roots and brown ends on very curly hair. Then she said the four magic words every stylist loves to hear: "Do whatever you want." She was open to absolutely anything!
Christopher decided Debbie's hair color should be "warm and spring-like," not gray or black. He gave her a strawberry blonde shade with highlights, brought more focus to her eyes, and re-created her face with the help of contour, makeup, and dyed brows.

"I don't recognize myself," Debbie said after her makeover. "My family's not going to recognize me, either!"
In the end, I can see why she feels so fabulous… because what a drastic change!
