Candles are must-have items in any home because not only are their sweet smells alluring, they also set a nice ambiance and can enhance any room.
For candle lovers, finding the perfect holder is also important to match your home's decor. But, instead of spending money on holders that can sometimes be a little pricey, why not make some yourself?
Just like Altoids tins, which you probably never thought could be transformed into useful household objects, there are several items found in most people's homes that can be turned into creative candle holders.
And some of them are so simple to put together. Just wait till you get to #8! Other ideas will even be great to decorate your patio with (in addition to all these suggestions we previously introduced you to!)

1. Wine Glasses

If you have any old wine glasses, just add a tealight candle inside. To be a little more creative, fill the wine glass with sand or coffee beans and put the tealight candle on top. If you go with the latter, you'll also get a nice coffee aroma.
2. Logs

Take some time carving out a log for a very rustic candle holder.
3. Whisk

Turn a whisk upside down to make a hanging candle.
4. Mason Jar

Mason jars are great because they could be an option for big or small candles.

5. Beer Bottles

Cut the top off of a beer bottle off and you have modern and fun options for candles.
6. Wine Bottles

Wine bottles also make great holders for longer, thinner candles.
7. Twigs

Collect some twigs from outside and glue them together to make a very outdoorsy candle holder.
8. Glass Bowl

This would be a great centerpiece for any table. Just get a big glass bowl, fill it with water, and add some tealight candles. Include some fresh flowers for more appeal.

11. Coconut Shell
Don't throw out that coconut shell! Instead, carve it out and make it into a tropical candle.
12. Seashells
You can place a candle on a small platter and surround it with seashells like in the photo above. Or you can get more creative and glue shells together to make the base of the candle. Whichever you choose, this decoration will bring summer right into your home.

15. Orange
Just cut off the top half of the peel and remove the inside orange, but make sure to leave the center stem. Then fill it with any type of oil and you've got an orange candle!
