The icy waters of Romania are no joke, especially when you're a small dog with no one to look out for you. This incredible rescue video of the poor pup who got trapped in a Romanian canal blew up after it was posted online. Not only is the rescue daring and amazing, the dog does something truly astonishing towards the end of the clip.
In this video, the terrified husky mix desperately tries to escaped the frigid waters of the Somesul Mic River in the city of Cluj, in the province of Transylvania. Two fisherman heard the dog's cry for help and rushed to save him. The soaking wet dog could be heard his whimpering, as he tried to claw his way up a moss-covered concrete dam. Luckily for the pooch, the Good Samaritans were ready and any to save the petrified dog. In the spirit of true gratitude, the pup rushed back to thank one of his rescuers who lovingly said "your welcome" with a nice head rub.
