Wood duck mamas are very unique in that they lay their eggs in tree holes — meaning that when their precious babies hatch, they face a very scary journey to the ground below! The adorable hatchlings have no other choice. When they come of age, they must jump! They peek out of the only home they've known and watch as their fearless mom takes the first jump. Then, one by one, the brave little guys each follow suit.
