Dying Hunter Trades In His Rifle For A Camera & Meets A Deer Who Changes His Life On Earth

Mr. Thomas had been living with a terminal illness for many years. Although he had been an avid hunter in his younger years, when he got sick, he felt a calling to make a change and photograph wildlife in his free time.

Mr. Thomas was a man who spent many weekends and trips away hunting deer during his healthier years. He enjoyed the solitude of being out in nature and trying to find the biggest buck that he could claim as his own. However, when his life’s journey unexpectedly shifted, the same thing happened to his favorite pastime.

He was at a routine checkup with his doctor when Mr. Thomas was given the life-changing news. His physician told him that he had a terminal illness that was going to change the course of his life, but with treatments, he hopefully had another 10 years on earth.

When Mr. Thomas returned home to his daughter, Latricia, she immediately knew that something was very wrong. When he told his daughter about his diagnosis, she broke down in tears. Her father told her that everything was going to be alright and he had decided to trade in his hunting rifle for a camera.

With those words, Mr. Thomas did just that. Even though the nearby forests used to be a place of conquests for him, they soon became his very own sanctuary. He loved snapping photos of birds, rabbits, and foxes in their natural habitat.

One day, Mr. Thomas wasn’t feeling his best, but he decided he was still going to venture out into the woods to see what images he could capture on his camera. As he was heading toward his front door, suddenly a large buck with giant antlers appeared before him out in his yard.
