Elderly Couple Rescues Abandoned Baby Deer. Watch How They Begin To Earn The Deer’s Trust.

A woman and her husband found a baby Whitetail Deer abandoned by his mother in their yard. After three days the mother deer never returned. So, this wonderful couple, over the next two weeks, started feeding the baby Whitetail deer goat's milk after doing some research as to how to care for such creatures. Now, the deer is happy and healthy, and being looked after by a woman known as "The Lighthouse Lady" and her husband!

She says, "The baby deer has started running around the yard. He sleeps in the corner of our yard near a fence. He drinks 5 to 10 ozs every 4 to 6 hours during the daylight. It is amazing to be this close to this beautiful animal."

It's amazing to watch how quickly here the baby goes from hesitant and a bit nervous, to open and interested — even affectionate, after being fed a hearty breakfast! Watching him run around the yard, then circling back to his new adoptive guardians with a spring in his step — it's almost like watching a rescue dog finally connecting with his owners. SO awesome! Great job, guys!
