Ellen DeGeneres may be America's sweetheart and favorite talk show host, but did you know that she also has a very sneaky side?
If there's one thing Ellen loves, it's a good prank, and when Ellen is on a pranking spree, no one is safe. We've seen the star prank her wife, Portia de Rossi, in the comfort of their own home, and you can't forget about the time Ellen sent two of her employees through a haunted house just for a good laugh. However, the biggest victim of Ellen's pranking has to be the Today show's Matt Lauer.
Just like Ellen, Matt is a "nice" celebrity, but he's not someone who's going to let a friend embarrass him over and over again on national TV and not try to get revenge. That's why Matt and his colleagues teamed up to get back at Ellen in a way she'd never forget. As you will see in the video, while an unsuspecting Ellen was filming her show, the Today show crew was hard at work breaking into Ellen's beloved Porsche Cayenne, which was parked outside the TV studio.
When Ellen left the building after filming, she had 20,000 surprises waiting for her outside. Her reaction is pretty priceless — and it looks like we haven't seen the last of this prank war!
