While Ellen doesn't have any of her own kids, she's very sensitive to how hard it can be to be a mother. She knows how hard so many moms work to raise their families with strong values, even when it means scraping the bottom of the barrel or sacrificing something of their own for the sake of their children.
She's always looking for the next person to help, whether it's a stressed-out student, a young barista, or a woman who's been through her fair share of tough times over and over again. Ellen's generosity has no bounds, and that's what we all love about her so much.
At the end of one of her shows, she had time for one more surprise.
As she showed pictures of an adorable little girl on the big screen, covered in spaghetti sauce, the mother had no idea what was coming. After a few more pictures scrolled by, Ellen called the mother down to the stage.
Courtney is a stay-at-home mother to her young daughter named Marley. While her husband goes off to work during the day, she loves spending time with her baby, but she feels as if something is missing from her life. She wants to be the best possible role model for her daughter.
That's when Ellen intercedes…
