Sure, those species are the poster kids for extinction, but there are so many other interesting creatures that we haven’t even heard of that have crawled, ran, swan, and flown across our planet — it’s mind-boggling. Not to mention animals that are currently on the brink of vanishing into oblivion like the black rhino, blue whale, and even the chimpanzee. The chimpanzee! That’s bananas.
