We here at LittleThings love little things, and just about everyone loves little baby deer. What with their tiny faces, spotted bodies, and awkward, cloppy feet; a newly born fawn has the uncanny ability to make even the deadliest hunters in the world smile with glee.
They're one of the cutest animals out there, and most people just can't stop watching videos of baby fawns playing with their best friend who happens to be a cat! Or reading about the countless heartwarming stories involving foster-parent dogs raising and loving baby fawns who have lost their mother. Either way, fawns are certainly an animal that we all love to fawn over.
But the little baby in this video takes the cake! The tiny little deer in this amazing clip is known as a pudú. Mostly native to Chile, the pudú holds the distinction of being the World's smallest deer!
A fully grown adult pudú stands proudly tall at an incredible 13–17 inches in size! The adults eventually grow horns, making them fearsome creatures to be wary of!
The tiny baby in this adorable video is only five days old. Fresh in the world, this littlest of deer is still exploring everything she can! Watch the video and try to count how many times she sticks out her tiny tongue!
Or wait for the :40 second mark to see who she sprints toward for safety when a bug lands near her!
