When Seattle firefighter Andy Reilly headed out to a call one morning, he saw something on the ground that he thought was just a bug a first, but once he took a closer look, realized it was a tiny hummingbird!
The hummingbird had gotten exhausted in the cold, closed off firehouse, so Reilly tried to build it a makeshift nest and feed it some sugar water. When that didn't really work, Riley put the hummingbird on the dashboard of his truck to warm it up, and went out to buy actual hummingbird food.
In the video below, you can see the little bird slowly coming back out of its hibernation state, and finally getting its wings back!

“I kept feeding it every few minutes and it would sleep in between,” said Reilly. “Finally it flew off into the apple tree, and then to parts unknown.”
