Fan Xuesong is a flight attendant in China. During one of her routine flights aboard Hainan Airlines, Fan came across a disabled passenger who was partially paralyzed.

A 71-year-old man, identified by the Daily Mail as Mr. Niu, was flying with his wife on China's Hainan Airlines.
After suffering from a stroke that left him in a wheelchair and partially paralyzed, Mr. Niu relied largely on his wife and child for assistance with many day-to-day activities.
Flight attendant Fan Xuesong spotted Mr. Niu on the flight and brought him to a row with much more space that was closer to the restroom.
Unfortunately, because Mr. Niu's wife wasn't able to move seats as well, he was having an extremely difficult time feeding himself during the flight.
Fan decided to do something incredible: she took the elderly man's silverware and began to feed him directly. Believing it to be only a small act of kindness, Fan never expected Mr. Niu's reaction.
Fan told Chinese media, "When I said I wanted to feed him, he suddenly felt touched and started to cry."
Mr. Niu allowed Fan to feed him, which required a large amount of patience on the flight attendant's part.
Fan said, "Mr. Niu worked hard all his life and contributed to society; we should be kind to him."
These photos of Fan and Mr. Niu have gone absolutely viral, serving as inspiration to people around the world. The Daily Mail reports that a photo of the event was "shared by millions" on Chinese social media.
Mr. Niu told Chinese media, "I couldn't help but cry as she helped me eat, blew my nose, and wiped away my tears."
While her act of kindness may seem small, it absolutely meant the world to the 71-year-old. Like many other amazing people out there, Fan didn't hesitate to help a fellow human being in need.
