In 1966, Frank Sinatra Joined His Daughter For This Amazing Duet

"These Boots Are Made For Walkin’" by Nancy Sinatra is one of the most timeless hits of the 1960s. For Nancy, the daughter of Ol’ Blue Eyes himself, it was the biggest hit of her career. And while we all love Frank Sinatra's famous crooning talents as a solo artist, we just discovered our new favorite Frank moment — when he joined his daughter in 1966 for an unforgettable medley of songs.

"I got another little surprise for you," Frank tells Nancy. "One of your songs with my sound." The dad-daughter duo then proceed to stand up and stun with a crowd with an unexpected, energetic mashup of "Downtown," mixed in with "These Boots are Made for Walkin.' It's so cool seeing Frank act so silly around Nancy, dancing like a goofball and even trying to embarrass her a little bit, too 🙂

Nancy made her professional debut in 1960 on her father's television special, The Frank Sinatra Timex Show: Welcome Home Elvis, celebrating Elvis Presley's return from Europe when he was discharged from the US Army. Nancy was sent to the airport on Frank's behalf to welcome Elvis home when his plane landed.

One YouTube commenter says it best: "Classy father having fun with his daughter in front of America and the world."
