The Rat Pack era is back in full swing after footage from "Happy Holidays With Bing & Frank" has resurfaced online. For those who remember, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra celebrated Christmas 1957 together, singing holiday classics including "White Christmas." If this doesn’t bring you back to the days when music was music, nothing will.
In the video, Sinatra invites Crosby over to his house for Christmas Eve, and the two sing all the great holiday songs. Frank sings a swingin' version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Then, seated in front of the fireplace, the pair sing "The Christmas Song" before launching into the final tune, "White Christmas."
Christmas is the time of year when most of us become nostalgic, so this video is the perfect holiday treat. There's nothing like these two performing together. It is simply the best.
