She Leaves Water Balloons In The Snow And Creates Magic You’d NEVER Expect

In the days of Pinterest and YouTube, there are thousands of awesome (and easy!) DIY projects and ideas. It's so easy to decorate using things I already have around the houseand this next one, I can't wait to try!

In this video, a woman freezes water balloons filled with food coloring to make beautifully colored frozen orbs. This just looked like a fun thing to do in the winter, so I thought I would share.

How to make it:

  • Add food coloring to empty balloons, then fill them with water.
  • Place outside in the snow (or in your freezer) until frozen.
  • Wait until the next morning. Then, use a pair of scissors to remove the balloon.

The end result looks like big, frozen marbles! It’s so cool! Please note: This video is a little long, but worth watching. To see her final product, skip ahead to 6:49. But this truly is a cool project for both kids and adults. Kids can play with the “giant” marbles while adults can use the frozen orbs to decorate the lawn. It really adds a splash of vibrant color to snow.
