Apparently, Aretha Franklin isn’t the only one who wants "to feel like a natural woman." The Garnett family proved they also do with their rendition of Carole King’s "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" during the live semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent.
Dressed in beautiful shades of cranberry and red, the Garnett family — made up of mom, Helen Garnett, and her daughters, Rachel, 20, and 17-year-old twins, Abigail and Anna — wowed the audience and the judges.
"It was absolutely stunning," said judge David Walliams. "It’s such a big song, and it’s associated with Aretha and some of the biggest voices in pop. It was really stunning, you went for it, and it was thrilling.”
This isn't the first time family members impressed the judges on Britain's Got Talent. In the past, we've seen a mother and son's heartwarming duet as well as a mother and daughter duo who share a special bond. Yet, these four ladies managed to even wow judge Simon Cowell, who is always a tough sell.
Initially, he was perplexed as to why "Mum" was in the group with her daughters. Yet when she belts out at the end of the song, Cowell said he now understands why she’s in the group.
And regardless of their results on the show, the powerful women say they will continue to sing on- or offstage.
“We have been singing forever,” the group said, reported UnrealityTV. "We’re never not singing in this house. It’s such a huge part of our lives. We have worked really hard for tonight’s performance."
