2016 was not a good year for music fans. David Bowie died in January, and now we've reported the loss of George Michael, who unexpectedly passed away on Christmas at the age of 53.
The incredible performance below features both icons, who joined together to honor another music legend who had recently passed away.
Back in 1992, the world was mourning Freddie Mercury, who'd died of AIDS in late 1991.
During rehearsals for the 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, George Michael stepped in to lend his perfect voice to Queen's "Somebody to Love." As you're about to see, if anyone was able to pull off Mercury's powerhouse vocals, it was him.
Everyone in the rehearsal room was blown away by Michael's undeniable talent, including Bowie, who watched alongside the singer Seal.
There's something so special and surreal about watching these two late legends in the same room, sharing their love of music.
