George W. Bush Isn’t Afraid To Show His RESPECT For The Military’s Wounded Warriors!

The emotional video below honestly brought tears to my eyes. Whether it be physical injuries or psychological ones, this incredible bike ride has changed countless lives and helped to heal dozens of our nation's wounded warriors.

Each spring, former President George W. Bush and approximately 20 servicemen and women wounded in the global war on terror get together for a 100-kilometer mountain-bike ride. This is the fifth annual bike ride in which Bush has spent time with the wounded warriors.

As a part of the Bush Institute's Military Service Initiative, this race is used to highlight the bravery and dedication of all warriors and thanks them for the sacrifices they've made in order for the freedom of all Americans to remain steadfast.

So while his daughter Jenna celebrates her upcoming child, the former President is busy getting physically and emotionally prepared to bike with these 20 warriors.

Bush committed himself for the rest of his life to show compassion and understanding to those who put their lives on the line. Only he knows of the burden and special bond of the former commander in chief and those who answered the call for him. And this bike ride is a touching tribute to those proud wounded veterans.

Bush chose to ride with these people who were dealt a severe life blow and he chose to stand with those who fought for him. On the trail it's been reported that Bush is tough to keep up with, but throughout the course of the 100-kilometer bike ride, no one is ever left behind.

What do you think about President Bush's ongoing commitment to our military? Let us know in the comments!
