Move over, Harry Houdini. One very slimy octopus might be the greatest escape artist of all time.
In this video, shot by Alaskan fisherman Chance Miller, an octopus is seen searching for a way off the boat and back into the water. His only way out? Through a very tiny gap on the side of the vessel. Of course, no one on board thought the giant octopus would be able to climb though the tiny hole. Well, they were so wrong!
This determined creature felt its way toward the water and managed to squeeze its entire body through an incredibly tiny gap, that looks to be only an inch wide. The passengers watched in awe as they realize nothing is going to stop this giant octopus from getting back into the water. In the background, you can hear the astonished onlookers. Finally, after a few minutes of squirming through the hole, this octopus succeeded in gaining its freedom. Pretty amazing, right?
Guess this guy wasn't ready to be someone's dinner just yet! Seriously, you have to see this incredible footage to believe it.
