As a kid, there was nothing I loved more than my teddy bear. To this day, I still have that bear in my apartment.
I was attached at the hip to my little stuffed animal, which was appropriately named "Bear."
To this day, I still love teddy bears; they're soft, fluffy, and adorable. What's not to like? Plus, teddy bears are incredible — they comfort lonely animals, remind people of their late spouses, and provide hope for people dealing with grief.
Recently, a specific bear has been making national headlines. And this isn't any old stuffed bear. No, this is a giant teddy bear.
Specifically, it's a six-and-a-half-foot stuffed animal. That's right, it's taller than most people.
People were absolutely blown away by the bear, and a bunch of people ordered it online. Unfortunately, when it arrived, they realized that its legs were a bit… uh… unique.

This is the Joyfay giant 6'5 foot teddy bear. It is being sold on Amazon for $129.99.
The stuffed animal has 4.5 stars, which means it's highly rated by most people who have purchased it.
The bear weighs 18 pounds and is taller than most people.
It's advertised as a great cuddle buddy. "Kids and adults alike love to cuddle up with the soft silky giant," the description claims.
Looking at these pictures, it's obvious why someone would order this bear: it looks like the perfect thing to snuggle up with at night.
There's one thing these pictures don't make very clear, though, and that's just how long this bear's legs are.
On November 9, 2017, Twitter user @cooltonedcutie shared four images of the bear to her account with the caption, "I can't handle this."
Within days, the tweet had gotten a ton of attention. Over 100,000 people retweeted it, and over 244,000 people liked it.
Her tweet shows some of the reviews of the bear, which are absolutely hysterical.
Despite having a 4.5-star rating, the bear has clearly not been well-received by some buyers.
One reviewer wrote, "Hideous! The legs are like 4 feet long making the bear look like a creepy gumby thing. I got this for Valentine's Day and would have rather had a cheaper more proportional bear… I mean this isn't even cute."
One disappointed customer left a long review, writing:
I feel there should have been more emphasis on the lower portion of the teddy bear. The photos mostly show a proportional torso and typically oversized head as is common in large, human-sized teddy bears.
Where the emphasis is lacking is in the giant pendulous legs that haunt the lower two thirds of this stuffed freak bear. It appears to be some sort of bipedal giraffe bear hybrid.
After we took him out of the box with my daughters, I expected it to hop up and sprint away down the street with a fingerless fist raised in victory. My daughter tries to hug the bear and she gets trapped in a serpentine mass of bear legs.
She won't keep it in her room anymore because her friends won't visit because of the nightmares. Joyfay should sell some sort of amputation and patch kit for parents that want a more desirable short legged bear.
Despite the terrifying legs, some people absolutely loved the bear.
One man wrote, "My girlfriend loved it so that says a whole lot," and another guy said, "My wife loves him."
One commenter even wrote, "Legs not long enough," as a joke.
Even though some people are scared off by the bear's legs, other people see it as a selling feature.
One woman wrote, "Does this really have super long legs? Because if it does I'm so buying it."
