Have you ever felt like you're at the end of your rope? Like life is constantly beating you down and throwing you more than you can handle? I think we all have at one time or another. But that's also the time that many people turn to faith to help pull them up by their bootstraps. Just when you think all is lost, that's when faith steps in to show you that miracles do happen every single day in the world.
In this touching video, uploaded to YouTube by Varun Pruthi, the young Indian actor is seen walking up to seemingly poor vendors on the street in India and asking them if they believe in God.
These are people who spend most of their waking moments struggling with all their might to make very little money, just so they can live. They are selling water for 1 rupee or cotton candy for 10 rupees. They are barely scraping by.
Yet, all of them reply to Pruthi that they do, in fact, have faith. "Full faith," several of them say. Faith that God will watch over them and help them when they need it most.
It's at this moment that Pruthi reaches into his pocket and hands them a 1,000 rupee note (approximately $16 here in the US).
According to The Telegraph, a thousand rupee note is equal to about two weeks' wages for many of these street vendors.
That's a lot of money. That's a life-changing amount of money for someone that needs it as badly as these folks do.
"God sent me for you," Pruthi utters before walking off to find the next person he can bestow with one of his 1,000 rupee notes.
The video stays on his subjects, however, as we get a glimpse of them in utter disbelief. Many of them even have to brush back the tears falling from their faces as they stare at the note.
It's a moment of pure, selfless bliss and one that should go a long way towards reminding us (the viewers) that faith can work miracles. Be kind to each other, look out for each other, and miracles can (and do) happen.
What an absolutely beautiful message.
Please SHARE this heartwarming video with all your friends and family!! Just when you think things could not be worse, faith can lift you up in ways you never imagined. Don't ever forget that.
