Actress and singer Barbra Streisand is one of the very few out of today's superstars who appeals to people of all ages. My parents have been fans of her music for as long as I can remember, and I love watching her in movies!
It's hard to pinpoint exactly what makes Streisand such a special entertainer, but it's safe to say that it's a combination of many factors: her unique look, her talent, and memorable persona all contribute to her appeal. Streisand has managed to sustain a lucrative and prolific career for many years, and on her 74th birthday, it's a good time to celebrate it!
Over the years, Streisand shone in many performances. At just 21 years old, she sang a duet with the legendary Judy Garland. Many years later, in 1997, she sang with Céline Dion. These are only two of the major stars she has collaborated with.
But her "Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again" duet with Garland isn't the only song they sang together. Watch them in this 1963 clip from The Judy Garland Show, in which they sing the song "Hooray for Love."
