With Valentine's Day coming up, I'm sure people are already trying to think up cute ways to show their Valentine how much they care. And since food is the way to anyone's soul, why not combine a tasty snack with a simple yet sweet idea?

In this video, life hack pro Dave Hax teaches you how to make a heart-shaped egg, and it's much easier than you may think.

Here's what you'll need to do:

1. Place your egg in boiling water for 5-10 minutes
2. Let the egg cool under cold water
3. Take an empty juice carton and cut the corner off (watch video for step-by-steps)
4. Once the egg is cool, peel it and sit it in the middle of the cardboard “boat”
5. Put a chopstick on top of the egg, and hold it firm in place with rubber bands at each end of the cardboard
6. Give it about 10 minutes, then remove the egg

This is so easy, and adorable! And when you chop the egg half, you can even see it shapes the yolk into a perfect heart.
