She Goes To Check Out, But Cashier Notices Her ‘Glazed Look’ And Knows Something Is Wrong

Rebecca Montano works as a clerk at Farm Crest Milk Stores in Arvada, Colorado. One Sunday afternoon in 2016, a young mother named Jessica went to purchase a drink at her register. Jessica held her baby daughter, Annabelle, closely in her arms and went to pay for her items.

In the surveillance video below, you can watch as Rebecca began talking sweetly to baby Annabelle. But then she looked over at the mother and noticed her eyes were completely glazed over. Rebecca knew something was horribly wrong.

The concerned clerk asked Jessica if she was OK but got no answer. Jessica couldn't speak. Instead, she began swaying from side to side. She wanted to reply to the cashier, desperately wanting to tell her to grab Annabelle from her arms. However, she was physically incapable of doing so.

That's when the mother started falling backward with her baby. She was suffering from an epileptic episode. She says she typically knows when a seizure is coming on, but this one gave no warning.

Rebecca, who is a mother and grandmother, quickly tapped into her maternal instincts. Watch the video below to see why Rebecca is being hailed a hero.
