Rule #1: anytime you see a hand just hanging out in the air, always go for the high-five. Always. It's fun, it's funny, and most importantly, it's probably the greatest way get some one to smile. Which is exactly what Brooklyn filmmaker Meir Kalmanson set out to do in a recent project.
Back in July he and his small camera crew hit up well-known Park Avenue in search of a few people hailing cabs he could try to high-five. While New York has a reputation for being a rude, rushed city, the reactions Kalmanson got are quite the contrary. Although some hailers denied his invitation…or shall we say sneak attack…for a high-five, every attempt was met with a smirk, smile or giggle. Which all Kalmanson wanted with this video, to make people smile.
Hopefully this video will make you smile too.
