Darcy Crabtree is one of those beautifully inspiring people that you'll be lucky to meet at least once in your life.
Darcy was born with Cerebral Palsy, and even though doctors said that she would never walk, she's proved them all wrong as she plans to be escorted as an official member of the homecoming court!
The whole community has nothing but nice things to say about Darcy, describing her to KTBS as "a sweet person and fun loving all the time…an example of a person you'd want to be like."
At the age of 4, Darcy underwent a special surgery in an attempt to help her walk. Even with the help of science, she still had a lot of hard work to do. Through sheer determination and strength of will, this young woman managed to beat the odds and walk with a big smile on her face.

18-year-old Darcy might suffer from Cerebral Palsy, but she refuses to let that keep her spirits down! She's a huge supporter of her High School's football team, The Panthers.
The Panthers saw how supportive she was and knew how much of an amazing person she was. So the whole team got together and decided to vote for her to be on the homecoming court of 2015!
So when she walked down with her homecoming escort, she had no idea who they had elected as Homecoming Queen that year.
In a heartwarming gesture, the whole community realized that Darcy represented everything that it meant to be the Queen. She was graceful, charming, and always committed to becoming a better person.
Congratulations to Darcy Crabtree, the 2015 Homecoming Queen of Fouke High School!
