When it comes to patriotism, there are a lot of ways to express your love for your country. There are songs to sing, monuments to visit, colors to wear. And if you're feeling extra patriotic, you can do all three at once. Anything works!
In terms of singing songs, there's no right or wrong way to do this either. Performing with a group? Awesome. Just a little karaoke solo? Perfect. These songs lend themselves to all style choices. But a cappella group Home Free took it to another level when they decided to sing their version of 'God Bless the USA' in front of Mount Rushmore. It doesn't get more American than that, unless they'd worn some red, white, and blue, of course!
Home Free is known for their incredible songs covers, sans any instruments. Check out their Grand Ole Opry performance of "Life Is a Highway", or their beautiful cover of "O Holy" filmed in a stunning church — these guys don't mess around when it comes to their settings. They also don't mess around when it comes to vocals. The talent is unreal!
For this performance, the band is standing at the foot of Mount Rushmore. And when the camera pans out to show the monument? Stunning!
