He Cuts A Hole Into This $4 Cooler And Never Turned On His Air Conditioner Again!

The summer months are upon us and for many people around the world, that means figuring out the best way to beat the heat.

I don't know about you, but when the sun is out, I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible. However, it seems like every year, the sun is getting hotter and hotter; and as I get older, I find myself wanting to spend more time cooling down. Since I'm not as lucky as this person, who enjoys an amazing "secret" pool and backyard area, I have to find fun and easy ways to chill out on those scorching hot days.

In the past, we've brought you videos like this one that can help you save money on a cooler, but what YouTube do-it-yourself king Household Hacker does in this next clip takes beating the heat to the next level. If you're like me and can't afford to pay for your air conditioning on all the time, this easy life hack is guaranteed to make a lightbulb go off in your head.

In the video, Household Hacker creates a homemade "air conditioner" without the $300 bill. All he used was a $4 styrofoam cooler that you can get just about anywhere during the summer and a couple of dryer vents that cost about $2 at any hardware store. If you already have a small fan, the next part is a true breeze.
