An Arabian horse who suffered a dangerous fall is up and running thanks to the selfless rescuers who worked tirelessly to save him.
The rescue horse named Aww-gee couldn't get up after slipping in his pasture in Pittsburgh.
"I let him out and he slipped on some ice. I saw him go down. His hind feet fell underneath him and that was it," owner Val Patsiga told Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV.
Patsiga, who rescued the horse over three decades ago, immediately called 911. The rescue workers showed up right away and went the extra mile for the hurt horse, much like the firefighters who saved a dog from an icy pond in Massachusetts and the cop who saved a desperate pooch from a stream in Colorado.
As you'll see below, the firefighters and police moved the horse on a sled and even used a tow truck to try and help him get on his feet. When that didn't work, the men tried one more brilliant method, which ended up saving the day.
The horse's owner expressed her gratitude for this hardworking rescue team saying she's "so, so appreciative." Patsiga also plans to give a donation along with a special letter of thanks.
Watch below and please SHARE if you're glad these firefighters and policemen did all they can to save a helpless horse!
