Hairstylist Louis Licari and TODAY contributor Jill Martin scoured the NBC plaza and found two women wanting updated looks. The women were pampered for three hours, before revealing their dramatic makeovers.
During the segment, 61-year-old Patti Hadrava — a quilting teacher — revealed she was in New York to celebrate her 40th wedding anniversary with her husband. Despite being overwhelmed, she was very excited for her makeover.
When she unveils he new look, her husband Louis had the sweetest reaction.
"Whoa!" he exclaimed when she walked out. "Now she's ready for the red carpet."
Hairstylist Louis Licari changed her hair color to red, and Patti couldn't have been more thrilled!
Joan Henry from California was up next. The retired 67-year-old, who has four daughters and 10 grandchildren, volunteers at Hospice. She jumped at the opportunity for a brand new style. When she saw her new look, she was blown away.
"Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed.
Her partner John was shocked and left completely speechless by the beautiful transformation. But his grin was proof that he liked what he saw!
