California Man Arrested In Killings Of Family Of 4 Is An Angry Former Employee

Jesus Salgado and his brother Alberto Salgado have been arrested in connection to the kidnappings and deaths of Aroohi Dheri, Jasleen Kaur, Jasdeep Singh, and Amandeep Singh.

Alberto Salgado has been arrested for criminal conspiracy, accessory, and destroying evidence, and Jesus Salgado has been arrested for four counts of murder and four counts of kidnapping.

Jesus Salgado was a former employee of the family's trucking business, and sources have indicated he and the family had been locked in a dispute for about a year. Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke has indicated that much of the fight was conducted by email and text.

A relative told local news Fox KTVU that Jesus Salgado had been fired from the family's company and still harbored anger over being let go.

An investigator has detailed the horrific deaths of the family, indicating that Jasdeep Singh and Amandeep Singh were killed with a machete and Jasleen Kaur died by gunshot. Eight-month-old Aroohi Dheri was left to die.

Police released a statement explaining, "Our focus now has turned to the prosecution of this horrific crime. With the assistance of the California Department of Justice Investigators have been processing the scene since last night. We are not releasing any details about the crime scene or speculation on any motive or cause of death as this is an ongoing investigation. As soon as we are able to give more details we will. Again, our focus has now turned to the prosecution of this case."
