Josh Sherborne was driving along in his car, headed to the gym, when something truly incredible happened. Now I'm sure most days having his dashboard video camera on is a total waste, but on this particular night it turned out to be 100 percent worth it.
As Josh was driving along on the highway, he saw the dark night sky begin to light up. Suddenly, he couldn't believe what he saw from behind the wheel. "I actually thought it was Lightning," Sherborne wrote on YouTube, but when he checked it out later, it was something far more incredible.
Sherborne's dash cam caught a perfect glimpse of a meteor shooting through the sky. "Pretty cool to have seen it happen little ol' New Zealand," he continued. I say it's pretty cool for anywhere. This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience…I'm so happy he shared it with us!
