Keith Urban granted his "number 1" fan's dying wish last week.
Marissa English is a huge fan of Keith Urban, and she planned to attend his concert in Toledo, Ohio, on October 18. But the 25-year-old has dealt with multiple health conditions since birth, including severe scoliosis, cerebral palsy, and an inoperable cyst on her brain, WTOL 11 reports. She's now in hospice care, and she couldn't make it to Keith's concert.
So Marissa's nurses took to social media to persuade Keith to visit her in the hospital.
"She had tix for the concert but is now facing hospice," tweeted nurse Laura Biel. "Trying to reach out to see if Keith can possibly give this young girl her dying wish."
Amazingly, Keith saw the tweets. And even more amazingly, he actually came. He met Marissa at the hospital, where he sang her his hit song "Blue Ain't Your Color."
"Keith Urban got this message and made this wonderful young woman's dream come true!! He's my new hero!" Laura tweeted afterward.

Now 25 years old and in hospice care, her dying wish was to see Keith Urban sing. But she couldn't make it to the show on Thursday night.
So Marissa's nurses launched a social media campaign to bring Keith to her instead.

Shockingly, nurse Laura Biel's tweet caught Keith's attention.

The star actually arranged to visit Marissa in hospice.

He even sang her his hit song "Blue Ain't Your Color."

For Marissa, it was a dream come true.
"She just has such a fascination with Keith and loves to watch him on TV and listen to his music," Marissa's in-home nurse, Jackie Codding, told WTOL 11.

"She has memorabilia from a couple of the other concerts we've been to. She has a T-shirt that we put on a pillow that’s beside her all the time,” Marissa’s mother, Marlise Matthews, explained.
“It’s actually cute because she’ll pick up the pillow and hug it and kiss it (and) … she’ll point at it and say ‘Mr. Hottie.’”

Not only did Keith personally serenade Marissa, but he also dedicated the entire sold-out show in Toledo to her.

He told the crowd about his visit to meet "who I truly think is my biggest fan."
"We're going to dedicate this whole show tonight to her, to Marissa."
Marissa's family and nurses were in the audience.
The video of Keith singing to Marissa has made people love the country singer more than ever.

Commenters say the gesture is incredibly touching.

And it says a lot about Keith's character that he made time for this special girl.

"We knew how important it was to Marissa to be at that concert tonight, and since she wasn't able to, we were hoping to try to find some way to have Keith make a connection with her," another nurse, Jan Cassity, said.
