Kourtney Kardashian Sends A Message To Shamers: Stop Worrying About Kids Who Aren’t Yours

Kourtney Kardashian is no stranger to haters, but she's been having to deal with her share of mom shaming online lately, and it seems that the reality star and lifestyle blogger has had enough.

It all started when Kourtney posted a cute photo of her youngest son, Reign, while he posed with a horse. Commenters immediately attacked the photo, demanding to know why Kourtney let her son — gasp! — have long hair.

The commenter who got under Kourtney's skin simply wrote, "She really need to cut his hair." Kourtney decided to reply, firing back, "She really need to not worry about kids that are not her own. He is a happy boy. ."

When it comes to long hair on boys, people can get a little riled up. This isn't even the first time Kourtney has contended with the thoughts of everyone else on the topic. Last year she received a similar backlash when she posted a photo of herself and Reign. One commenter said, "Cut his hair. So ridiculous. And don’t state that he wants it that long. Dear god, he is a child, he does not know any better. You did the same with Mason. What is your point?"

It might just be that Kourtney doesn't even have to have a point in the first place. Let Reign live!

Kourtney "I really don't care about what you think" Kardashian is the mom of three kids with her ex, Scott Disick. The internet's fascination with Kourt's long-haired sons surfaces every so often, usually when she shares a photo that commenters find particularly challenging.

Her youngest son, Reign, has rocked long hair his entire life and shows no signs of cutting it anytime soon. When you consider that Kourtney is a millionaire and has an entire style team around to serve the needs and wants of her family, it's easy to assume that Reign and his hair are just fine.

In fact, if the photos Kourtney shares are any indication, Reign definitely has more than a little bit of his mom's attitude in him. He's also apparently quite the joke teller, for, you know, a very young child.

Kourtney really prioritizes her children and speaks often about how important parenting is to her. In 2011, she spoke to Parenting about the importance of doing parenting in a way that makes sense to you, saying, "I am doing the best that I can, and I feel really confident in that. Unless someone has walked in your shoes, you really can’t judge. Everyone needs to make the best choice for their life."

And in 2016, Kourt spoke to The New Potato, offering advice for new moms. "I think just to trust your instincts. I think we all have a mother’s instinct when we have kids, so just trust it and stay calm. I remember when I was pregnant with Mason, my mom would always be like, 'Why isn’t the room painted? Where is the crib? Where is this or that…' And I was like, 'People used to have babies in caves; it’s going to be okay.'"

When her first son Mason was born, Kourtney spoke about experiencing that sensation we all get: mom guilt. She told Parenting, "Unless I’m working, I can’t be away from him without feeling guilty. It doesn’t feel good or natural to be, so it’s a struggle. My friends keep saying, 'You and [boyfriend Scott Disick] should go out and eat or do something.' Recently my sister Kim watched Mason so we could go to dinner. It took so long — actually, it probably didn’t take so long, but to us it felt like it took long — we were like, should we just get pizza and go home?"

In 2015, Kourtney celebrated International Women's Day and brought girls and boys into the discussion. On Instagram she wrote: "I am surrounded by strong women every day. I am so inspired by my strong, smart sisters, mother and grandmother all day long. Most importantly, teach your children (girls and boys) about what today means and lead by example. #internationalwomensday #teachyourboys."

Kourtney really loves to gush about parenthood. She even told Parents magazine that being a mom is "definitely my favorite role in life. It has changed me and made me realize there is nothing else I would rather do with my time."

She also went on to talk about what she most wants her kids to learn from her: "Cherish your time and learn about what is important. I want them to know: Don't get caught up in things that don't really matter and don't get caught up in the things society puts so much pressure on."

If one thing is for sure, it's that with a giant family who loves them and a whole team of professionals around them to attend to what they need and want, Kourtney and her kids are going to be fine — with or without their long hair.
