Doctors Said This Deformed Cat Would Surely Die, But He Shocked Them All! I’m In LOVE!

Lazarus was rescued off the streets in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was in bad shape, malnourished and matted in fleas. Veterinarians assumed he was abandoned because he was born with a very severe bilateral cleft palate. Because his cleft is so extensive, doctors are shocked Lazarus is even alive today. Even though Lazarus has a very noticeable disability, which exposes his lower teeth, his unique look has turned him into an Internet superstar.

The two-year-old cat lives under the care of special education worker Cindy Chambers at East Tennessee State University. The cat is playful, sweet and charming. His big personality has gained Lazarus has over 6,000 Vine followers and 27,000 Facebook fans! Take one look at him, and you'll see why.
